      OBITUARY.
      MR. EDWARD JOSEPH BER
      MINGHAM.
      After suffering ill-health for
      three years, Mr. Edward Joseph
      Bermingham of 258 Wardell-rd,
      West Marrickville, died at his
      residence, on June 9. The late
      Mr. Bermingham. who was born .
      at Camden in 1859 was a son of
      the late Peter and Mary Berming-
      ham, and a nephew of the late
      Rev. Father Michael Harrington
      Ryan. one of the first priests or-
      dained in Australia. Requiem
      Mass was celebrated at St. Bri-
      gid's Church, Marrickville, by Rev.
      Father Casimir, C.P., who accom-
      panied the funeral after Mass to
      Rookwood cemetery, where he
      also recited the last prayers. Mr.,
      Bermingham is survived by his
      wife, Mrs. Annie Bermingham,
      and four daughters, Mary, Nell,
      Annie and Frances. Among those
      present at the interment were
      friends from Canowindra, as well
      as his city friends. The funeral
      arrangements were conducted by
      Fix this textW. N. Bull, Pty., Ltd.
