      OBITUARY.
      MRS MOLLOY (CARCOAR).
Early on Wednesday morning, February 21,
another: of Carcoar's old residents passed
away, in the person of Mrs. Catherine Molloy,
relict of the late Mr. Michael Molloy. The
deceased lady was 80 years of .age, and had
been a resident of the district for over 40
years. She was widely known and highly
respected throughout the entire district, and
her extensive circle of friends and acquaint
ances will deeply regret her decease. For
several months Mrs. Molloy had been suffering
from an internal complaint, being confined
to her bed for some time past, and her death
was not unexpected. The deceased lady
leaves one son (Mr. Michael Molloy, of Gally
mont), and. two daughters (Mrs George
Dighy, of Gallymont, and Mrs. G. Grant,
of Shaw), and a considerable number of
grand-children to mourn her loss. The fune
ral took' place on Thursday afternoon. The
mournful cortege left the church in which
the body, encased in a very handsome cedar
coffin, had lain since early morning) at 3.30
p m. Relatives, friends, and acquaintances
from all parts of the district attended and
followed the remains to their last resting-,
place in the Carcoar cemetery, where the
last sad rites were performed at the graveside by Rev. Father Kelly.— R.I.P.
