SHIP NEWS.
'The barque Earl Grey, which arrived on
Thursday last from Plymouth, 9th March,
brings 256 immigrants in good health and
sound constitution to our shores. Only
one adult died upon the passage, of con-
sumption, the seed of which had taken root
too deeply in the constitution of the patient
previously to leaving England, to encourage
any hopes of recovery; eleven infants also
died.

Immigrants.— The Immigrants who arrived
by the Earl Grey on Thursday last, are 250 in
number, and are all, happily, in a very healthy
condition. They appear to be a well selected
and useful class of persons, and those who are
in want of servants or laborers would do well
to proceed on board the vessel without delay,
or they will be forestalled in the demand ;
many of the new arrivals having already been
engaged upon liberal terms.
