Mr. W. H. Woodhead, who died at his resi- dence, 28 Grantham-street, Burwood, on Fri- day morning, at the age of 71 years, was a builder until his retirement some time ago.
He came to Australia from England about 50 years ago. For many years he was deacon at | the Burwood Congregational Church. He is
survived by Mrs. Woodhead, four sons, and three daughters.
The funeral took place on Saturday morn- ing, when the remains were cremated at Rookwood.
The mourners were the widow, Messrs. Arthur, Stanley, Eric, and Warren Woodhead (sons), Miss Hilda Woodhead, Mrs. G. P. Stanton (Concord), Mrs. A. C. Woodhill . (Yass), daughters, Mr. Arthur Woodhead
