A large number of Cullen
Bullen and Portland residents
attended the funeral on Tues
day afternoon of the late Mrs.
Ellen Phyllis Wright, who
passed away at Wentworth-
ville. A service at the Cullen
Bullen Catholic Church was
conducted by Rev. Fr. Master-
son, who also officiated at the
graveside, in the Catholic por
tion of Cullen Bullen cemetery.
Pallbearers were Messrs. W.
Wright, J. Wright, L. Field
and J. Banner (brothers-in-
law). Messrs. Wood and Wood
of Lithgow, handled local ar
rangements in conjunction
with a Sydney firm.

WEDDING
(From a Correspondent)
The marriage of Nellie, second eld-
est daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Pusell,
of Tyldesley, and Bertram, second eld-
est son of Mr, and Mrs. J. Wright, of
Cullen Bullen, was solemnised in the
Catholic church, Portland, on Satur-
day afternoon. The Rev. Father
Cusack officiated.
The bride was attractively frocked
in ankle length ivory georgette, a
white pearl straw hat adding a charm-
ing effect. Miss N. Pusell, who look-
ed pretty in a dress of floral pink or-
gandi, with a large picture hat, was
the bridesmaid. M- ' ""'d Woods
was the best man. The bride was
given away by her father.
The bride's present to the bride-
groom was a pair of gold sleeve-
links, while the latter reciprocated
with a gold wristlet watch.
The wedding breakfast was held at
the home of the bride's parents, when
the usual toasts were honored, and
felicitations offered. The presents
were costly and numerous.
The honeymoon will be spent at
Bathurst. The future home of the
couple will be at Cullen Bullen,
