      A very pretty wedding was cele-
      brated at St. Barnabas' Presbyterian
      Church Forbes, on "Wednesday, 6th
      April, the contracting parties being
      Mr Irwin Maurice Godden, son of Mr
      and Mrs. J. Godden, of Moora
      Moora." "Waarroo ...and Miss Daisy
      King, only daughter of Mr and Mrs
      R. King of 'Kywong, Marsden road
      Tlie ceremony was performed by the
      Rev. Cruickshank, and as the wedding
      party entered the Church "The Wed
      ding March" was played by Mrs J- C.
      Keane.
      The bride was given away by her
      father and looked charming in a
      pretty frock of white crepe de chene
      and georgette. She wore the custo
      mary wreath and veil, and carried a
      shower bouquet (present from Miss
      Combe of. Leura); The bridesmaid
      was Miss Rene Combe, who was attir
      ed in white voile, trimmed with filet,
      lace and insertion. Mr Chas Godden
      (brother of the bridegroom) acted as
      best man
      After the ceremony the guests ad
      journed to the town hall, where about
      80 sat down to the wedding breakfast
      The usual toasts were proposed and
      honored, the Rev. Cruickshank occu
      pying the chair.
      Amongst those present were Cpt.
      Roy King (Australian Air Force, bro
      ther of the bride), and many old
      acquaintances from the Wamboyne
      district.
      Later in the day the happy couple
      left for the Jenolan Caves where the
      honeymoon will be spent, the bride
      travelling in a navy crepe de chene
      relieved with putty, and hat en suite
