      The Union Church, Binnaway,
which was decorated for the occasion
was the scene of a very pretty wed-
      ding on Wednesday afternoon April
      18, when the Rev. P. W. Pearson B.A.,
      Presbyterian Minister of Coonabara-
bran, united in holy wedlock, Linda
Maude, eldest daughter of Mr and
Mrs Archie Magick, of Binnaway, and
Leslie, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Gil-
bert McWhirter, of Binnaway. As the
bride entered the Church on the
arm of her father, who gave her
away, the "Voice that breathed o'er
Eden" was beautifully played on the
organ by Miss Roma Greenhalgh. The
      bride, who looked charming, chose
for her wedding gown, white mariette
with lace and silver bead trimmings
and wore the usual veil and wreath
of orange blossoms and carried a
bouquet of white roses and pink
      carnations. Miss Nina Magick sister
of the bride, was bridesmaid, and
wore a pretty frock of mauve georg-
ette with hat to tone. She carried
a bouquet of pink carnations with
      mauve ribbon streamers. Mr Roy
      McWhirter, brother of the bridegroom
was best man. After the ceremony
the reception was held in the Sold-
ier's Memorial Hall, when the bride's
mother dressed in a gown of fawn
charmaiaine with hat to tone, re-
ceived the guests. After the usual
toasts had been honored the happy
      couple left for their honeymoon,
which will be spent in Katoomba,
Sydney and a tour of the South Coast.
      The bride's travelling dress was
      dark saxe morocain, trimmed with
champagne and hat to match. Their
      future home will be Binnaway.
